DaySyncTour Atlas

THE ARCHIVE, WITH ITS EDGES SHOWING

Sources, scope
& a clear record.

A touring reference is only useful when you can tell what is known, what is listed and what is missing.

What a tour page represents

Each page describes the exact itinerary or regional leg identified by its source. Source-named tours, promoter itineraries and annual concert archives are distinct record types. We do not turn annual chapters into invented tour names. Search landing pages currently require at least three dated performances in two cities, with dated venue records and a source reference. Artist-year search pages separately summarize substantive calendar-year records for artists with source-named tour references and selected primary archives. They preserve their annual scope and link every dated venue to its evidence. The interactive atlas also contains smaller records and additional annual archives.

Dates, cities and touring rhythm

Performance dates, cities, venues and performer identities come from credited records. Calendar span is inclusive of the first and last listed dates. City runs group consecutive listed performances in the same city and country. Consecutive show days count distinct adjacent calendar dates; multiple sessions on one day do not create extra days. Intervals measure gaps between listed dates. They are not documented days off, journeys, flights or hotel stays.

Coverage and status

Coverage is incomplete and uneven between countries, artists and years. Future records retain their source-listed planned status. A past listing is not independent confirmation that a show happened. Conflicting dates, unresolved artist identities and incomplete source locations are held from accepted imports. Native organization identities stay separate unless corroborated; matching names are insufficient.

Sources and reuse

Sources include official artist and promoter itineraries, specialist concert archives, MusicBrainz Tour Series, Live Music Archive, the Australian Concert Tour Database, New York Philharmonic Performance History and Live Music Locator. Each tour and performance links to its own evidence. Source coverage is available in the database source registry and continuous collection report. Data courtesy of Live Music Locator; locality data is attributed to GeoNames, CC BY 4.0. Individual source terms apply; this archive does not grant a blanket licence to third-party text, imagery or data.

Images and box office

Reference-page images require a recorded file source and reuse licence. Image credits identify the original file, creator and licence. No generated artist portrait or guessed logo fills a gap. Reported box-office figures preserve the original currency, engagement grouping and scope; they are gross ticket receipts, not artist profit. Combined multi-night reports are never divided into invented nightly amounts. Secondary financial leads awaiting primary review are omitted from these reference pages.

Corrections

Check the linked evidence and the stated scope before comparing a page with a full world-tour itinerary. To request a correction, provide the page URL, the exact performance or field, and a dated primary reference to the Tour Atlas maintainer through the channel where you received this site. Updates retain native source identities and an audit record.

Usage analytics

Tour Atlas uses a dedicated Google Analytics property to understand visits to its pages and maps. Google Analytics uses browser identifiers and cookies. This integration sends page paths and public tour identifiers, omits free-text search queries and URL fragments, and disables advertising personalization and Google signals. Measurement is skipped on local previews and when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Map date changes are not additional page views. Links to DaySync include campaign tags and an outbound-click event to measure interest; a click does not establish a signup or purchase.
